Specialist Resourced Provision Lead Teacher
Overview
There could not be a more exciting time to join our school. In Spring 2026 we will move into our brand new school building which is currently under construction at one end of our very large school site. After that, the buildings we’re currently occupying will be demolished and the space they leave will become additional sports grounds. Follow us on our Instagram account to see details of our new building progress.
Islip Manor High School’s vision is to inspire bright futures by building strong foundations, upholding high standards and empowering the growth of our students’ vibrant minds. We have five values which shape our behaviours and actions every day:
Curious: We will encourage questioning and develop critical thinking.
Creative: We will embrace risks, solve problems and turn ideas into reality.
Collaborative: we will work together to create an environment where every member of our community feels valued, respected and supported.
Courageous: We will approach challenges with optimism and resilience.
Confident: We will be confident in our skills and abilities.
We’re a Foundation School in the London Borough of Ealing. Ealing schools have traditionally worked very collaboratively and it is no coincidence that Ealing’s performance in national league tables is strong. Schools in Ealing have come together to form the Ealing Learning Partnership (ELP) in conjunction with the Council. This partnership provides us with a range of networks so that Northolt High School staffare able to share and develop ideas and practice with Ealing colleagues across a range of schools.
We are very excited about our new partnership with Ealing Council to add a 30 place Specialist Resourced Provision to our school This partnership will enable us to offer a bespoke provision for students with SEND needs to enable them to thrive within a mainstream school environment. This provision has partially opened in September 2025 in our current school premises and will open fully in April 2026, housed in a dedicated area of our new school building.

Recruitment process
One of the Ealing Learning Partnership projects we have been engaged with in the last two years is a ‘No Learner Left Behind’ project to improve the outcomes of our Black Caribbean students. Informed by our work on this project, we conduct an annual analysis of the ethnicity profile of our student body. Our long term aim is to ensure that the profile of our staffgroup matches that of our students. At the moment, we are underrepresented in the following ethnicity groups: Arab, Asian, Black Caribbean, Black African and Traveller of Irish Heritage. We would therefore welcome applications from candidates who would classify themselves as belonging to these groups.
The school does not share information provided about ethnicity with members of staff involved in the shortlisting or interview process.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and safer recruitment processes are always robustly followed. Successful candidates’ appointment will be subject to safer recruitment checks and satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check. Further information can be found at:
